This class is intended to give you a basic foundation of the operation of a longarm quilting machine.
In this course you will learn to:
Load a quilt on the longarm quilting machine
Thread the machine / change thread
Wind bobbins
Align a pantograph for quilting
Quilt using a pantograph design
Noodle around a tiny bit doing a bit of free motion quilting from the front of machine
What to bring:
Excitement for learning to the basics of longarming. Supplies will be provided - we will use small panel quilt tops which will be donated to Quilts for Kids, a charity which provides area hospitals with quilts for children who are receiving treatment.
We will be covering a fair amount of basic info so we will start promptly. Please try to arrive a few minutes early if possible.
