Engineering Professor Shane Farritor teaches an informal class for those who want to learn to program and use the Arduino micro controller. This is the 3rd of 3 sessions. In Session 3 we will learn to use the Arduino to control the outside world. This will include transistors and relays to control motors and lights. Specifically, we will program an addressable LED display. No specific supplies are required, but you may want to purchase your own Arduino (~$11) for use in future projects. Depending on the demand for the class it may also be useful to bring your own laptop.
