No experience needed! In this 2-day workshop you will transform illustrations and digital collage into 2-D animations. The workshop will examine layering techniques and a two-frame “eating” sequence to achieve the illusion of a character opening and closing its mouth. By the end of this workshop you will have completed an animation that includes the following: An illustrated main character that eats, illustrations of a few objects to be consumed, and a digitally composited background. Emphasis will be placed on developing an original animation that can be submitted to the Cube Art Project competition. The cost if the workshop is $60.
