In this $30 workshop you will learn to machine bind your quilt from award winning local quilter and studio member Kristina Morrow. She will guide you through time-saving tips and tricks for cutting and stitching binding strips, as well as applying binding and joining the tails for a crisp, flat finish. You will also learn techniques for perfect mitered corners and finally stitching your binding in place.
The workshop will include thread, binding fabric, a quilted piece of fabric, and instructional guides for you to take home.
You will need to bring with you your sewing machine with a zig-zag, blanket, or binding hem stitch capability, operations handbook, bobbin thread and an open toe foot.
