In this 6 hour fee based workshop you will learn to dye fabric and textiles using a technique called Low Water Immersion, also referred to as Procion. This technique will also show you how to take the color wheel beyond primary, secondary and tertiary colors. You will be able to mix primary colors to create custom dyes and use the extra colors provided for stunning effects on many different types of fabrics.
You will receive lunch, 5 yards of fabric and all other necessary supplies and have the opportunity to pre-order scarves, t-shirts, sweatshirts & pashminas from Lori when you register for the workshop.
A second fabric dyeing workshop is being offered Friday 12/14 that will cover Indigo Dyeing Techniques, also a $90.00 fee. You can sign up for both workshops at a reduced total fee of $165.00.
