Nebraska Innovation Studio
All are invited to come listen and learn about the Making for Innovation Student Projects being created in Innovation Studio! The course is taught by Dr. Shane Farritor and is an interdisciplinary class that explores techniques used to create objects.
The course is built on two basic ideas. The first is that building and hands on problem solving is an important path to innovation. The act of building prototypes and physical models leads to improved creative thinking and is an important path to the conception of new products, designs and ideas. Secondly, significant innovation occurs at the boundary between humanities and technology. This cross-disciplinary hands-on course will focus on physical construction and will culminate in the building, testing, and presentation of a significant physical design project.
