Pre-requisite trainings: Table Saw, Planer, Jointer



In this 3 part Workshop you will learn how to purchase lumber, prepare stock, and make a checkerboard cutting board. Each session will include instruction time and woodshop homework will be assigned for the following week.



Session 1

Max will guide you through the initial stages of this woodworking project including material selection, flat and square setups, and proper glue-up techniques.

Session 2

In session 2 we will go over the first half of creating your cutting board including flattening and squaring rough sawn lumber and the initial glue-up.

Session 3

Finally we will take the in-progress cutting board from Session 2 and process it further to turn it into an end grain cutting board.
