Nebraska Innovation Studio
Bring exciting interactivity to your projects by learning Arduino – an easy-to-use electronics prototyping platform aimed at makers and hobbyists of all ages. In this introductory workshop, you’ll learn how Arduino can interface with pushbuttons, knobs, sliders, sensors, motors, LEDs, speakers, and almost any other electronic device. This two-hour workshop will give an overview of Arduino, basic C programming concepts, basic electronics literacy, and Arduino framework concepts. This is a fast-paced hands-on workshop that will combine lecturing with several quick programming activities. No prior experience is necessary. Innovation Studio will provide computers and Arduino-compatible Innovation Board kits to use during the workshop, but participants can also bring laptops and their own Arduino-compatible boards.
